        Our group toured around Centennial Park in Atlanta, GA. We were staying in the CNN Omni Hotel and congregated in the Georgia Congress Conference Center next door. Executive Director Grant Jones and his staff did an amazing job this year.     The celebrant of the Mass was Cardinal Peter Turkson. Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson is a Ghanaian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He was president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace from 24 October 2009 to 1 January 2017. Here are some Sir Knights including the Supreme Knight (in red), the Supreme Captain (in purple) and the District Deputy (in dark blue). Here are Past and Present District Deputies of the Northern States District. Here was the joint session of the Knights Of Peter Claver Inc. We learned about Xavier University and the struggle in the plight of human trafficking in our country with the African American community.

ON BEHALF OF THE SUPREME KNIGHT AND SUPREME LADY   Brothers and Sisters in Claverism, This holiday weekend we honor the memory of those men and women, including our own Claver brothers and sisters, who have given their lives for our country in the name of freedom. They have worked, fought, and made the ultimate sacrifice for the heritage of freedom and liberty that we have come to expect as our everyday way of life. So this Memorial Day weekend, while spending time with family and friends, celebrating graduations, enjoying cookouts and other festive gatherings, please make time to attend Mass and pray for the repose of the souls of the faithful departed that gave up so much so that we can enjoy holidays like this one.
