Founded in 1909, The Knights of Peter Claver has not only celebrated Black History Month each year, but it has proudly lived Black History every day.  Our organization and our members have provided pivotal leadership, support, and resources to the communities we serve throughout the country for the past 109 years!   We salute our brother and sister organizations who have also held the torch of freedom, equality, and civil rights.  We honor our community, church, and civic leaders who have sacrificed so greatly so that we can have access to the freedoms we enjoy today.  We challenge ourselves and each of you to not only remember and honor the past struggles and gains, but to willfully answer our call demanding that we continue facing the difficulties and challenges of today and tomorrow.   Please visit  www.kofpc.org/blackhistory  to find historic information, activities, and other resources to help you and those you influence "Celebrate and Live" Black History Month!
